MRN Race Technologies was originally founded in 2013 by Martin Buckles and Douglas Cook but back then it was called Maroug (MARtin + dOUG). The first project was designing and manufacturing a Moto2 motorcycle chassis, which was achieved with great success and resulted in two magazine articles including a full feature with glowing reviews.
